Jamie as a Director

Jamie has been working on a movie as the director.
She has a lot of sweaty people to keep happy and she is very good at it.

I don't really wear glasses but this pair the lenses had fallen out and we thought they would be a fun new touch to my costume.

Pictures because I think they are SO cute!

This little man is a really good sport when it comes to filming on really hot days; he just gets out his ice-pack and keeps working.

Princess Cutie-pie is also very sweet about the long filming days. But she is looking a little tired here.

The Bad Guy! Well not so very bad. Ryan spends a lot of time being filmed. As the only oder boy in the family he gets put in main roles a lot.

A Writer's Quotations

This is a very random picture but I really like pictures on posts and this was the only one I had and plus I thought it was really cute!

"You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we're doing it."
~Neil Gaiman~

"Writers don't write from experience, although many are hesitant to admit that they don't... If you wrote from experience, you'd get maybe one book, maybe three poems. Writers write from empathy."
~Nikki Giovanni~

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read."
~Groucho Marx~

"Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it."
~C. S. Lewis~

Evanlyn

Which character from the Ranger's Apprentice series are you?

Evanlyn
Evanlyn is really Cassandra, the stubborn princess of Araluen. She is familiar with politics and military strategies, but not survival skills, until she gets her hands on a sling, then she provers herself to be a skillful fighter.

If you've never read the Ranger's Apprentice series this will mean nothing to you, but I think my two very favorite characters in Ranger's Apprentice are Horace and Evanlyn so I liked the test. *smile*

Living

  1. Count your blessings, not your troubles.

  2. Learn to live one day at a time.

  3. Learn to say "I love you," "thank you," and "I appreciate you".

  4. Learn to be a giver and not a getter.

  5. Seek the good in everyone and everything.

  6. Pray everyday.

  7. Do at least one good deed every day.

  8. Learn to count. Put God first.

  9. Let nothing bother you.

  10. Practice the "Do it now" habit.

  11. Fill your life with good.

  12. Learn to laugh and learn to cry.

  13. Learn to practice the Happiness habit.

  14. Learn to fear nothing and no one.

  15. Learn to let go and let God.

I can realat to that

"I cannot live without books."

~Thomas Jefferson~

I've never really cared for Thomas Jefferson because he didn't like Patrick Henry and Patrick Henry is kind of my "Historical Hero" if there is such a thing (?).
But if he said this, well.... maybe he's an O.K. guy. I mean really, who can live without books? They are AMAZING!

10,000 reasons

I've heard this song four times within the last five days so I though I would post it.
While camping a friend was singing it and I barley new any of the words. With in the next three days I had heard it twice on the radio and we sang it at church.
I now the words now!

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship you holy name

The sun comes up
Its a new day dawning
Its time to sing your song again
What ever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name

You're rich in love and you're slow to anger
Your name is great and your heart is kind
For all your goodness i will keep on singing
10,000 reasons for my heart to find

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul

Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name

And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Soon my soul will sing your praise un-ending
10,000 years and there forever more

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name
I worship your holy name
I worship your holy name

Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name
(Jesus I will)
I worship your holy name
I worship your holy name

I'm impressed

http://www.dickinson.edu/uploadedImages/student_life/resources/vice_president_for_student_development/rushstatuequill300.jpg

Benjamin Rush Could speak Latin, Greek, German, French and a little of Spanish and Italian.
I know I'm impressed. I'm not much good at different languages.

I was thinking the other day about all the things Benjamin Rush could say and no one would know what he was saying. Benjamin Rush was also a Dr. so that could have come in handy....

"Usted tiene una enfermedad incurable."

"You have an incurable disease. "

"Ich habe keine Ahnung, was mit Ihnen falsch ist."

"I have no idea what is wrong with you."

"C'est quelque chose que je n'ai avant jamais vue."

"This is something I've never seen before."

"Il mio consiglio è di vivere come stavate morendo."

"My advice is to live like you were dying."

"¡Espero esto no sea lo que pienso que es!"

"I hope this is not what I think it is!"

I had a little free time and see what came out of it!
Maybe next time I'll just read another book. Books are awesome! I just had to put that in there. I'm addicted to books but I'm a really slow reader so I'm still at the point were I can talk about a every book I liked/loved for weeks afterward. (Or mouths. Or years.)
If I read any more than I did I wouldn't be able to tell everyone about ever good book I read.

Anyway this is not what I started out talking about so I guess I should just stop.
Still I think I might learn some phrases in strange languages just so I can say things and then say 'Oh don't you know what that means? Well of course you don't it's in German.'
O.K. I need to go because this is silly.
