NEWS FLASH!

I am changing the URL of my blog to A Passion For Liberty/apassionforliberty.
Why? Because as I told Erin the other day. Bunny Business is kinda a  funny name but why did I name it that? In the words of Anne Shirley "There is no meaning in a name like that." 

Anyway I wanted a name that could be a little more history related. Even though I am still going to do family post, as you can see, lately it's been more history than anything else. Which  is what I wanted otherwise I wouldn't bee doing all these crazy quotations.

Now if you don't know what it means to change the URL... Well, just come back on here tomorrow under the knew name and see for yourself.

Day 5: A favorite quote.

Well I could find a really good quote with a lot of meaning but... I'm just going to do one that I think really applies to me and one that I have always liked, so here it is!

"Oh Marilla, looking forward to things is half the pleasure of them," exclaimed Anne. "you mayn't get the things themselves; but nothing can prevent you from having the fun of looking forward to them. Mrs Lynde says 'Blessed are they who expect nothing for they shall not be disappointed.' But I think it would be worse to expect nothing than to be disappointed."



Well there's my quote, nothing great, but makes a lot sense to me.

Day 3: A favorite book.

Well there are so many good books out there that I just can't pick my favorite. All most every time I read a knew book I say after I've finished "Well that was just the best book ever" You can see how a person that thinks all books are the "best book ever" could have a hard time picking a favorite. But I must say as far as standing the test of time goes, I think that the best were...

1#All the Chronicles of Narnia
2#Anne of Green Gables

But there are many, many more that I like soooo much too.

So, I think that sums that up.

Some Great, Fuzzy Anne of Green Gables Photos

We are about to start posting our photos as me begin to film and I wanted to tell you a little about the costume.
Our movie is set in 1897 or as I usually tell people in Anne's time (meaning Anne of Green Gables).
So to make the costumes I had to find photos of the movie, Anne of Green Gables, but when I looked them up on the computer and I found some really good photos but not many, so I watched the movie and whenever I came to a good costume I would take a not-so-good picture and here are some for anyone else out there who needs some fuzzy photos of Anne of Green Gables.

Costumes For Our Movie

I have begun the costumes for our next movie and I am having so much fun.
The new movie is in Anne of Green Gables time (the very beginning of the 1900s) and for this movie we are planing on filming in the winter so we all need coats that are warm, but still look mostly historically accurate work for that time.

Well I had all this really ugly cloth that I could not bear to throw away because there was a lot of it-

So I decided to make my coat for the movie!


I took a dress pattern I already had and just shortened it, made the sleeves longer, and doubled the front piece.


Then for the trim I used the cloth and buttons from a old costume.


Oh and the top layer is a sheet.
Well I'll put more photos of our costumes up later.
