Costumes For Our Movie

I have begun the costumes for our next movie and I am having so much fun.
The new movie is in Anne of Green Gables time (the very beginning of the 1900s) and for this movie we are planing on filming in the winter so we all need coats that are warm, but still look mostly historically accurate work for that time.

Well I had all this really ugly cloth that I could not bear to throw away because there was a lot of it-

So I decided to make my coat for the movie!

I took a dress pattern I already had and just shortened it, made the sleeves longer, and doubled the front piece.

Then for the trim I used the cloth and buttons from a old costume.

Oh and the top layer is a sheet.
Well I'll put more photos of our costumes up later.

Well bye,

Always An Adventure!!!

For as long as I can remember, we have gone to a tree farm the day after thanksgiving, and cut down a Christmas tree.

But this year we watched the Auburn/Alabama football game,
(War Eagle!!!)

So we went to the tree farm the next day. We decided to tried a new farm and drove and drove and drove, when we finally got there we began to look around and to say things like "Where are all the cheap trees?" (all the trees where the really nice kind.)

So after looking for a while we road the wagon thing back to the car and loaded up.
Then came trying to get out of the "parking lot" (we had the trailer). But Daddy was able to do it and we were back on the road.
After a while Daddy pulled over and we had a vote we could either go to another tree farm and as Daddy said "I don't know when we might get back home" or we could go Lowes; something that most of us could not imagine doing.

Well the vote was for Lowes, so that we could put up the tree that night, so that's where we went and even though it was not the same, everything we do in our house is so much fun and we laugh so much that it really doesn't matter what is is.

P.S.
The tree looks even better in real life!

Happy birthday to my best friend!!!

Erin is my best friend,
she teases me and she jokes with we, she is my partner in crime and my partner through math,
she doesn't mind to much when I make a mess in our room and she only complains and little when I listen to the music I like. She is always willing to play on her violin and let me play guitar or violin with her. I love her sooo much.

Happy birthday Erin

A Fun Work day

Friday we went over to the house of one one of the sweetest family you'll ever meet, and got to try to help them with harvesting their sorghum. (Which is kind of like honey or syrup or maple-sugar.) Anyway, they were so nice to let us try to help and we had such a fun time with them and some other very sweet families.
So here are some pictures.

They where always so bright and cheerful and I missed them.

And then then Daddy brought home a surprise on Monday, a lot of beautiful mums.

It was so much fun, and know Mommy is busy putting them all over the yard.
They are soo beautiful!!!

I did these in backwards-birth-order this time because I uploaded them that way and did not want to try to change it.

Riley is vary photogenic. (by the way I spelled that right on the first try.)

Michael!!!

I think this is such a cut picture it looks like it could be a panting.

Jamie, and I don't really know what to say.

Ryan in his costume for Dear Father I had a hard time getting him to were those socks but I think they made his costume perfect.

Emily and I don't know what to say so you come up with something interesting.

Erin. I think this is a really cute picture and I love it when Erin wears that hat.

That is a bunny that I am holding and it was the cutest little bunny ever!

Jess. I think this is a one of our birthdays but I don't know whose.

Well that is everyone. Hope you like the pictures.
